Bill DayWalt Scholarship
Ashtabula County would truly have no Pride, if not for the work and dedication of one man. Bill DayWalt and his dedication to the community shined brightly through his compassion and service of others throughout his professional and personal life. Bill was focused in his career doing case management at Signature Health, as well as guardianship for Catholic Charities. Each bringing help to our communities beyond measure. Alongside those jobs he was also the Pastor at Kingsville Presbyterian Church.
Through his professional life he touched many, none so deeply as the children he both fostered, or adopted. He joyfully maintained as a friend to all, and is deeply missed.
To continue his work is an honor, one we do not take lightly. We will always be looking for ways to improve, to better our community and those around us. That is why in 2024 we gave out the first Bill DayWalt scholarship and have set in motion the path to many more years doing as he spent his life.

For those interested, we are excited to be able to open up donations for this years scholarship. Words will never be adequate to express our gratitude to Bill, his family, the lives he touched, and those to be affected in the future!

Requirements are simple, be entering or currently enrolled to further your education post high school graduation and write an essay sharing how the scholarship will benefit you and your goals for the future. We can’t wait to hear from you! Entries will be open until May 31, 2025.
